On 3 May 2019, the Royal Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh joined hands with the Thai community in Cambodia to organise a volunteer activity on the auspicious occasion of the Royal Coronation Ceremony of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun to make donation to the Sacrifice Families and Orphans Development Association (SFODA), an organisation in Phnom Penh providing safe shelter and education for children and young people in need. Through the Royal Thai Embassy's initiative and the Thai private sector and community in Cambodia's generous contribution, 6,299.50 USD and all kinds of useful goods for the children were donated to SFODA at the volunteer activity.
