On 30 March 2019, the Royal Thai Embassy, Phnom Penh, hosted a Buddhist and Merit-Making Ceremony on the occasion of Songkran Festival at the Embassy. Samdech Preah Aphiserei Sukonthea Mohasangreacheathipadei Bour Kry, the Supreme Patriarch of the Dhammayuttika Nikaya of the Kingdom of Cambodia, presided over the ceremony. A luncheon was hosted for the Thai Community afterwards.
