The Ambassador of Thailand to Cambodia paid a farewell call on the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, emphasizing the advancement of Thailand-Cambodia relations towards “Strategic Partnership”.
On September 10, 2024, H.E. Mr. Cherdkiat Atthakor, Ambassador of Thailand to Cambodia, paid a farewell courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Sok Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, as he prepares to conclude his tenure. During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the robust and deepening relations between Thailand and Cambodia, which are on course to be elevated to a strategic partnership. Thailand and Cambodia, as close neighbors, have developed cooperation in all areas. Both countries are determined to enhance their cooperation, particularly in the economic diplomacy, focusing on trade, investment, tourism, connectivity, infrastructure development as well as fostering closer ties between the peoples of both countries.
H.E. Sok Chenda Sophea expressed his profound appreciation to the Ambassador and the Thai side for their pivotal role in advancing and consolidating the cooperation between the two countries, paving the way towards the strategic partnership. He also mentioned that the Embassy of Cambodia in Thailand has recieved good cooperation from the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangkok. Cambodia attaches great importance to its close neighbor, Thailand, and is committed to furthering cooperation in a more tangible manner, including the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Thailand-Cambodia diplomatic relations next year.

កាលពីថ្ងៃទី ១០ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ ២០២៤ ឯកឧត្តមឈើតកៀត អត្ថាករ ឯកអគ្គរាជទូតថៃប្រចាំកម្ពុជា បានចូលជួបសម្តែងការគួរសមឯកឧត្តម សុខ ចិន្តាសោភា ឧបនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រី រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីក្រសួងការបរទេស និងសហប្រតិបត្តិការអន្តរជាតិ ដើម្បីជម្រាបលាមុនបញ្ជប់បេសកកម្មការទូតរបស់ឯកឧត្តម ដោយភាគីទាំងពីរបានសង្កត់ធ្ងន់នូវទំនាក់ទំនងដ៏រឹងមាំ និងឈានមុខ រហូតឈានដល់ការកម្ពស់ទំនាក់ទំនងរវាងថៃ និងកម្ពុជាក្លាយជាដៃគូរយុទ្ធសាស្ត្រ ព្រមទាំងបានពិភាក្សាអំពីយន្តការនៅក្នុងការបង្កើននូវទំនាក់ទំនងឲ្យកើតចេញជារូបរាង ជាពិសេសលើវិស័យសេដ្ឋកិច្ច ទាំងការជំរុញនូវការធ្វើពាណិជ្ជកម្ម វិនិយោគ ទេសចរណ៍ ការតភ្ជាប់ ការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន និងការជំរុញនូវទំនាក់ទំនងរវាងប្រជាជន និងប្រជាជន។
ឯកឧត្តមឧបនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រី សុខ ចិន្ដាសោភា បានថ្លែងអំណរគុណចំពោះឯកឧត្តមឯកអគ្គរាជទូតថៃ និងភាគីថៃដែលបានរួមចំណែកយ៉ាងសំខាន់នៅក្នុងការជំរុញនូវកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការទ្វេភាគីឲ្យរីកចម្រើនទៅមុខលើគ្រប់វិស័យ ថែមទាំងបានជម្រាបថាកន្លងមកស្ថានទូតកម្ពុជាប្រចាំប្រទេសថៃតែងតែទទួលបាននូវកិច្ចសហការយ៉ាងល្អប្រសើរពីសំណាក់ក្រសួងការបរទេសថៃ និងសម្តែងនូវក្តីរំពឹងក្នុងការជំរុញនូវកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការទ្វេភាគីដែលសំខាន់នៅថ្ងៃអនាគត ព្រមទាំងការអបអរសាទរខួបគម្រប់ ៧៥ ឆ្នាំនៃការស្ថាបនាទំនាក់ទំនងការទូតរវាងថៃ និងកម្ពុជានៅឆ្នាំក្រោយ៕
