On 7 February 2023, H.E. Mr. Cherdkiat Atthakor, Ambassador of Thailand to Cambodia, led a delegation from the Royal Thai Embassy to pay a courtesy call upon Samdech Vibolsena Pheakdei SAY Chhum, President of the Senate of Cambodia, on the occasion of assuming his position.

Both sides welcomed the close relationship between the two countries which has lasted for more than 72 years. They expressed their readiness to enhance cooperation between the Senates of the two countries to promote mutual trust and understanding as well as further strengthen the good relation for the mutual benefit and prosperity of the two countries and peoples.
