On 30 November – 1 December 2017 H.E.Dr. Pichet Durongkaveroj, Minister of Digital Economy and Society of Thailand, attended The 17th ASEAN Telecommunications and IT Ministers Meeting : 17th TELMIN in Siem Reap.  Mr. Darm Boontham, Chargé d'affaires ad interim welcomed the Minister and his delegation.  The meeting was organized under theme “ICT Connectedness and Readiness: Towards a Digitally Integrated Community” During the 17^th TELMIN meeting,  TELMIN approved the setup of ASEAN cybersecurity training center in Thailand , and tasked with improving the skills of 150  trainees of the security-related agencies of 10 countries each year.

On this occasion, representatives from Thailand have won 7 awards at “ASEAN ICT Awards 2017”.
