Royal Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh organized Thailand Education and Jobs Fair 2024 on 17 February 2024, a 1-day-event to showcase Thailand as an educational hub while offering a unique platform for spearheading Cambodian future workforce for Thai leading firms in Cambodia.

 

Thailand Education and Jobs Fair marks Thailand's grand fair in Cambodia for three consecutive year, organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in collaboration with the Thai Alumni Network and Go Study Thailand. The event aims to strengthen educational cooperation of people-to-people relations and provide opportunities for Thai private sector in Cambodia by tapping into Cambodia's youthful workforce and supporting the Thai private sector's growth. The Fair continues to attract over 1,300 attendees, underscoring Thailand's commitment in providing quality education to the youth of neighboring countries, especially aspiring students in Cambodia. Thai Education stands as one of crucial pillars for bilateral cooperation, with over 30 Thai universities and educational institutions participating to showcase educational opportunities, future curricula, and scholarship programmes.

 

Moreover, the event serves as a platform for career opportunities where talented Cambodian can meet with representatives from prominent Thai private sector in Cambodia, with over 25 Thai companies participating.

H.E. Mr. Cherdkiat Atthakor, the Thai Ambassador, presides over the opening ceremony, alongside distinguished guests including H.E. Mr. Oung Borat, Secretary of State and Head of the Cabinet of Deputy Prime Minister at the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports, and H.E. POK Pann, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training.
