In a collaborative effort to empower Thai businesses operating in Cambodia, the Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai Business Council in Cambodia successfully organized a comprehensive seminar titled, “A Practical Guide on Cambodian Taxation Law and related Economic Laws” held at Oakwood Premier Phnom Penh. The event drew the participation of numerous Thai business leaders and entrepreneurs eager to gain invaluable insights into the intricacies of Cambodian tax and economic legislation.

The seminar, which took place on September 14, 2023, was a significant step in bridging the gap between Thai businesses and the Cambodian business regulatory environment. With the overarching goal of promoting practical knowledge and understanding of Cambodian Taxation Law, both in theory and in practice, the event was tailored to address the specific needs of Thai enterprises.

The event began with an in-depth exploration of Cambodian Taxation Law in action. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with distinguished government experts from the General Department of Taxation (GDT), H.E. Dr. Eng Ratana, Director of Department of the Large Taxpayers,  and renowned experts in the field of legal, tax, and investment, Mr. Jack Sheehan, Regional Tax Partner and Head of the Regional Tax Practice and Ms. Vajiravann Chamnan, Tax Director from DFDL Firm and H.E. PHAN Oun, Director General of Consumer Protection Competition and Fraud Repression (CCF), Ministry of Commerce unpacked Competition Law & Consumer Protection Law extended the focus to encompass related Economic Laws, with a particular emphasis on Competition Law and Consumer Protection Law.

His Excellency Mr. Cherdkiat Atthakor, Ambassador of Thailand to Cambodia, stressed the paramount importance of this annual business event that reflects the commitment of the Royal Thai Embassy to support Thai businesses in Cambodia, fostering stronger ties between the two nations.

កាលពីថ្ងៃទី ១៤ កញ្ញា ២០២៣ ស្ថានឯកអគ្គរាជទូតថៃប្រចាំព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា ដោយមានការសហការពីសមាគមអ្នកធុរកិច្ចថៃនៅកម្ពុជា បានរៀបចំសិក្ខាសាលាធុរកិច្ចជូនដល់វិស័យឯកជនថៃនៅកម្ពុជា ក្រោមប្រធានបទ “A Practical Gude on Cambodian Taxation Law and Related Economic Laws”​  នៅសណ្ឋាគារ Oakwood Premier Phnom Penh ដោយទទួលបានកិតិ្តយសចូលរួមពីសំណាក់ (១) ឯកឧត្តមបណ្ឌិត អេង រតនា ប្រធាននាយកដ្ឋានគ្រប់គ្រងអ្នកជាប់ពន្ធធំ នៃអគ្គនាយកដ្ឋានពន្ធដារ (២) លោក Jack Sheehan, Regional Tax Partner and Head of the Regional Tax Practice និង កញ្ញា Vajiravann Chamnan, Tax Director, DFDL ប្រចាំកម្ពុជា (៣) ឯកឧត្តម ផាន អូន ប្រតិភូរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជា ទទួលបន្ទុកជាអគ្គនាយក​ នៃអគ្គនាយកដ្ឋានការពារអ្នកប្រើប្រាស់ កិច្ចការប្រកួតប្រជែង និងបង្រ្កាបការក្លែងបន្លំ ធ្វើជាវាគ្មិនកិត្តិយសនៅក្នុងកម្មវិធីខាងលើ។

វាគ្មិនដែលអញ្ជើញចូលរួមបានធ្វើបទបង្ហាញនូវទិន្នន័យសំខាន់ ព្រមជាមួយការណែនាំដែលមានសារប្រយោជន៍ជូនដល់ផ្នែកឯកជនថៃស្តីពីច្បាប់ពន្ធដារ ទាំងរឿងបទបញ្ញត្តិ និងការអនុវត្ដច្បាប់ ការធ្វើកំណែទម្រង់របស់អគ្គនាយកដ្ឋានពន្ធដារនិងសមិទ្ធផលការងារ ព្រមទាំងច្បាប់ផ្សេងៗដែលទាក់ទិននឹងវិស័យសេដ្ឋកិច្ច ជាពិសេសច្បាប់ការពារអ្នកប្រើប្រាស់ និងកិច្ចការប្រកួតប្រជែង របស់កម្ពុជាផងដែរ។

ឯកឧត្តម ឈើតកៀត អត្ថាករ ឯកអគ្គរាជទូតថៃប្រចាំកម្ពុជា បានបញ្ជាក់បន្ថែមអំពីសារសំខាន់នៅក្នុងការគាំទ្រវិស័យឯកជនថៃនៅកម្ពុជាអោយទទួលបាននូវចំណេះដឹងស្តីពីច្បាប់ បទបញ្ញត្តិ និងជំនាញសំខាន់ៗនៅក្នុងការប្រកបធុរកិច្ចអោយទទួលបានជោគជ័យ និងរលូតនៅក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ព្រមជំរុញអោយវិស័យឯកជនថៃផ្តោតសំខាន់លើការជំរុញសេដ្ឋកិច្ចថៃ​ និងកម្ពុជាជាបន្តបន្ទាប់។ កម្មវិធីសិក្ខាសាលានៅក្នុងថ្ងៃនេះទទួលបានការចាប់អារម្មណ៍ពីសំណាក់វិស័យឯកជនថៃនៅកម្ពុជាយ៉ាងច្រើនកុះករ ដោយមានអ្នកចូលរួមនៅក្នុងកម្មវិធីខាងលើជាង ១៥០ នាក់ មកពីជាង ៨០ ក្រុមហ៊ុន៕
