On 7 May 2025, H.E. Mr. Tull Traisorat, Ambassador of Thailand to Cambodia, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Peng Ponea, Minister of Public Works and Transport, on the occasion of his assumption of duty.

Both sides discussed on ways to strengthen connectivity between Thailand and Cambodia and within the ASEAN framework, both in roads, rails, sea and air, as well as infrastructure development in Cambodia. They also explored opportunities to enhance cooperation in other sectors which rely on effective transportation and infrastructure, such as trade, investment, logistics, and tourism. In addition, the two sides also discussed on projects and activities in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Thailand and Cambodia in 2025.
