The Royal Thai Embassy Strengthens Thai Alumni’s Network in Cambodia

 

The Royal Thai Embassy hosted a networking reception for Thai alumni in Cambodia, gathering over 60 Cambodians who graduated from various institutions in Thailand. The event, held at Novotel Phnom Penh BKK1 in the evening of 17 September 2024, aims to strengthen Thai Alumni networks in Cambodia paving the way toward closer people to people relations.

 

In his welcoming remarks, H.E. Mr. Cherdkiat Atthakor, Ambassador of Thailand expressed his gratitude to the alumni network for their support of the Embassy’s activities throughout the years. He believed that strong network of alumni could help increase opportunities for their professions and shape their future, with Thailand as the connecting point. In addition, it would promote people-to-people connectivity, which is an important foundation for mutual understanding and good relations between the two countries.
