During 9 - 11 December 2022, H.E. Mr. Cherdkiat Atthakor, Ambassador of Thailand to Cambodia, led a delegation to participate in the Sea Festival 2022 in Preah Sihanouk Province by presenting a Thai product booth, with the support from Café Amazon. In addition, the Royal Thai Embassy invited a troupe from Chanthaburi College of Dramatic Arts to perform Thai cultural shows to the general public at the said event. The event was presided over by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of Cambodia.

The Sea Festival is a tourism-promoting event organised annually since 2012 (except in 2020 - 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic) by the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism and coastal provinces (Koh Kong, Preah Sihanouk, Kampot, and Kep). The Royal Thai Embassy has always lent its support to the organisation of this festival.
