H.E. Mr. Cherdkiat Atthakor, Ambassador of Thailand to Cambodia, together with officials from the Embassy, the Office of Commercial Affairs in Phnom Penh, and Thai Business Council in Cambodia (TBCC), welcomed more than 30 representatives from the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), the Board of Trade of Thailand (BOT) and Thai business representatives. The visit was part of a trade and investment exploration mission linking Thailand-Cambodia-Vietnam economic opportunities.

 

Mr. Jirapan Asawatthanakul and Mr. Pairat Burapachaisri, Vice Chairmen of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, expressed their views that Cambodia remains a promising market in many areas. They also extended their appreciation to the Royal Thai Embassy for its continued support and close cooperation to private sectors.

 

As part of this business trip, the Embassy facilitated a business matching event, providing a platform for over 60 entrepreneurs from both Thailand and Cambodia to explore potential business collaborations and strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
