The Thai Journalists Association, in collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh, has organized a study visit for a delegation comprising executives from the Club of Cambodia Journalists (CCJ) and Cambodian journalists from various news agencies to participate in the Thai-Cambodian Media Exchange Program.
From August 16 to 31, 2024, the delegation of CCJ and Cambodian journalists including Thmeythmey digital media, Domrey News, Radio Bayon, National Television of Cambodia (TVK), and Techo Peace News visit Thailand to meet with government and private media organizations, including the Department of Information, MFA, Government Public Relations Department, the Thai Journalists Association, and various Thai news agencies. The delegation also has the opportunity to visit Thai businesses in Chonburi and Rayong provinces.
During this visit, 5 Cambodian journalists will participate in practical training sessions with 4 Thai media organizations, including the Public Relations Department (NBT), Thai PBS, MCOT, and Bangkok Post, to learn about media operations and develop skills in their respective fields.
This program is part of the ongoing cooperation under the MOU between the Thai Journalists Association and CCJ, which focuses on media exchanges between the two countries and jointly enhancing media capabilities. This year, the Department of Information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Thailand Foundation are supporting the organization of this event.
