The Royal Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh together with the Royal University of Phnom Penh organized Sunthorn Phu Day 2024.
On June 24, 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh, in collaboration with the Thai Language Department, Royal University of Phnom Penh, organized the 7th Sunthorn Phu Day at the Royal University of Phnom Penh. The event was co-chaired by H.E. Mr. Cherdkiat Atthakor, Ambassador of Thailand to Cambodia, and Prof. Dr. Oum Ravy, Vice Rector of the Royal University of Phnom Penh, along with professors and students from the Royal University of Phnom Penh and the National University of Battambang. The event was also attended and supported by Thai private sectors in Cambodia, including SCG Cambodia, Major Cambodia, and CP ALL Cambodia.
More than 200 students participated in this year's event. Apart from the body lotion workshop conducted by Thai officials’ spouses’ group, numerous competitions were showcasing Cambodian students' ability in Thai language skills such as Thai speeches, Thai handwriting, Thai poetry, Thai language singing, and many other competitions. There was also an exhibition and literature drama performance on biography of Sunthorn Phu.
Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) has continuously supported the Thai Departments of both universities in terms of developing curriculums, personnel capacity building, and providing scholarships for students in the Department. Thai volunteer teachers were also sent to support the Departments every year.
The Royal Thai Embassy remains committed to supporting education and human resource development, especially for Cambodian students studying Thai language, to further their knowledge, skills, and career prospects in the future.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី ២៤ មិថុនា ២០២៤ ស្ថានទួតថៃបាន និង ដេប៉ាតឺម៉ង់ភាសាថៃបានរៀបចំកម្មវិធី កវីស៊ុនថនភូ លើកទី៧ នៅសាលប្រជុំ CJCC វិទ្យាស្ថានភាសាបរទេស ក្រោមអធិបតីយភាពរបស់លោកស្រីសាស្រ្តាចារ្យបណ្ឌិត អ៊ំ រ៉ាវី សាកលវិទ្យាធិការរងនៃសាកលវិទ្យាល័យភូមិន្ទភ្នំពេញនិង ឯកឧត្តម ឈើតកៀត អត្ថាករ ឯកអគ្គរាជទូតថៃប្រចាំព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា លោក ញាណ វឌ្ឍានា នាយកវិទ្យាស្ថានភាសាបរទេសនៃសាកលវិទ្យាល័យជាតិបាត់ដំបង និងតំណាងក្រុមហ៊ុនថៃនៅកម្ពុជាផ្តល់កិត្តិយសជាគណៈអធិបតីនិងប្រគល់វិញ្ញាបនបត្រដល់និស្សិតដែលទទួលបានជ័យលាភីលើការប្រកួតវិញ្ញាសាផ្សេងៗ។ក្រៅពីនេះ កម្មវិធីខាងលើមាន ការចូលរួមឧបត្ថម្ភដោយស្ថានឯកអគ្គរាជទូតថៃប្រចាំកម្ពុជានិងវិស័យឯកជនថៃនៅកម្ពុជា មានដូចជាក្រុមហ៊ុន SCG Cambodia, Major Cambodia និង CP ALL Cambodia ជាដើម។
ក្នុងឱកាសនេះដែរក៏មានវត្តមានសិស្សនិស្សិតចូលរួមជាង ២០០ នាក់ បានចូលរួមធ្វើឡូសិន ដោយមានការបង្ហាញពីរបៀបធ្វេីដោយក្រុមភរិយារបស់មន្ត្រីរាជការនៃស្ថានទូតថៃនិងការប្រកួតផ្សេងៗទៀតដូចជា ការប្រកួតសរសេរអក្សរផ្ចង់ ការប្រកួត តែងសេចក្តីការប្រកួតវាយ អត្ថបទភាសាថៃ ការប្រកួតច្រៀងចម្រៀង ការប្រកួតនិយាយជាសាធារណៈ ការប្រកួតតែងកំណាព្យ ការរាំរបាំថៃបុរាណ ការគូរគំនូរ ការប្រកួតតស៊ូមតិ ការប្រកួតដើរបង្ហាញម៉ូតឈុតរីសៃខលពីតួអង្គក្នុងអក្សរសិល្ប៍របស់កវីស៊ុនថនភូ និងការសម្តែងរឿងដែលជាស្នាដៃនិពន្ធរបស់ កវីស៊ុនថនភូជាដើម។
រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលថៃតែងតែត្រៀមនិងមានភាពរីករាយជានិច្ចក្នុងការឧបត្ថម្ភក៏ដូចជាសហការគ្នាជាមួយដេប៉ាតឺម៉ង់ ភាសាថៃនិងសិស្សភាសាថៃផ្សេងៗទៀតនៅប្រទេសកម្ពុជាដើម្បីផ្តល់ឱកាសឱ្យស្សិសនិស្សិតបានបញ្ចេញសមត្ថភាព និងទេព្យកោសល្យដើម្បីបង្កើនធនធានមនុស្សល្អៗ និងជម្រុញឱ្យមានឱកាស កាងារកាន់តែច្រើននាពេលអនាគត។
