Royal Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh explored Trade, Investment, and Economic Connectivity Opportunities between Thailand and Cambodia in Kratie Province.
On April 1st, 2024, H.E. Cherdkiat Atthakor, Thai Ambassador to Cambodia, led a delegation comprising Thai embassy’s officials and Thai private sector representatives in Cambodia to visit Kratie Province. More than 20 companies officially traveled to Kratie Province to seek trade, investment, and economic connectivity opportunities between Thailand and Cambodia. The goal is to enhance mutual economic benefits, particularly by boosting trade and investment volumes, and supporting industrial sectors in both countries to link supply chains and expand cooperation within the region.
The delegation visited the UBE Snuol special economic zone and received an insightful briefing from Mr. Hean Sopauline, Director of the SEZ Operation and Management Department of CDC, showcasing the potential of the new special economic zone in Kratie Province and investment opportunities, particularly in agricultural products and agricultural industries. Currently, major investment in the SEZ is rubber processing factories and continuous industries.
Additionally, the delegation visited Tropeang Srea International Border Check Point (Cambodia-Vietnam) and had a briefing by H.E. Heng Sotha, Deputy Governor of Kratie Province, and high level officials on connectivity between Cambodia and Vietnam. The Check Point provides convenient access to transport goods to the international port of Ho Chi Minh City.
These activities are part of the proactive economic diplomacy mission of the Royal Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh, which organizes annual explorations of trade, investment, and connectivity between Thailand and Cambodia. Alongside these efforts, corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities are conducted with the Thai private sector in Cambodia. This year, the activities took place in Kratie and Stung Treng provinces from April 1st to 3rd, 2024, with the aim of fostering closer partnership for peace, prosperity and development between Thailand and Cambodia and their peoples.

ឈើតគៀត អត្ថាករ ឯកអគ្គរាជទូតថៃប្រចាំកម្ពុជា ព្រមជាមួយមន្ត្រីរាជការនៃស្ថានទូតនិងវិស័យឯកជនថៃនៅកម្ពុជាជាង ២០ ក្រុមហ៊ុន ធ្វើដំណើរទស្សនកិច្ចខេត្តក្រចេះជាផ្លូវការ ដើម្បីធ្វើការសិក្សាស្វែងយល់ពីឱកាសធ្វើធុរកិច្ច វិនិយោគ និងតំណរភ្ជាប់តំបន់សេដ្ឋកិច្ចថ្មីរវាងថៃ - កម្ពុជា ដោយប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តនៅក្នុងការបង្កើនផលប្រយោជន៍សេដ្ឋកិច្ចរវាងគ្នានឹងគ្នាអោយកាន់តែច្រើនឡើងថែមទៀត ជាពិសេសការបង្កើននូវទំហំការធ្វើពាណិជ្ជកម្មនិងវិនិយោគ និងការជំរុញគាំទ្រវិស័យឧស្សាហកម្មរបស់ប្រទេសទាំងពីរអាចតភ្ជាប់ខ្សែចង្វាក់ផ្គត់ផ្គង់បញ្ជូលគ្នានិងពង្រីកនូវឱកាសនៃតំណរភ្ជាប់ទៅកាន់ប្រទេសនៅក្នុងតំបន់។
គណៈប្រតិភូដែលជាតំណាងរបស់រដ្ឋនិងឯកជនរបស់ថៃបានធ្វើដំណើរទស្សនកិច្ចតំបន់សេដ្ឋកិច្ចពិសេសខេត្តក្រចេះ (UBE Snoul Special Economic Zone) និងបានស្តាប់អំពីការធ្វើបទបង្ហាញ ដោយលោក Hean Sopauline, Director of SEZ Operation And Management Department of CDC ដែលបានធ្វើការអត្ថាអធិប្បាយអំពីសក្តានុពលរបស់តំបន់សេដ្ឋកិច្ចពិសេសថ្មីនៅក្នុងខេត្តក្រចេះនិងឱកាសនៅក្នុងការវិនិយោគនៅក្នុងខេត្តដែលមានសក្តានុពលក្នុងវិស័យកសិកម្ម និងកសិឧស្សាហកម្ម ដោយបច្ចុប្បន្ននេះមានរោងចក្រកែច្នៃកៅស៊ូ និងរោងចក្រឧស្សាហកម្មបានបង្កើតជាបន្តបន្ទាប់នៅក្នុងតំបន់សេដ្ឋកិច្ចពិសេសនេះផងដែរ។
ក្រៅពីនេះ ឯកឧត្តម ហេង សុថា អភិបាលរងនៃគណៈអភិបាលខេត្តក្រចេះក៏បានទទួលស្វាគមន៍ នឹងអមដំណើរប្រតិភូទស្សនកិច្ចច្រកទ្វារអន្តរជាតិត្រពាំងស្រែ (កម្ពុជា - វៀតណាម) (Tropeang Srea International Border Check Point) ដែលបានបង្ហាញអោយឃើញអំពីការតភ្ជាប់គ្នារវាងកម្ពុជា និងវៀតណាម រួមទាំងឱកាសរបស់ថៃនៅក្នុងការដឹកជញ្ជូនទំនិញទៅកាន់កំពង់ផែទឹកជ្រៅទីក្រុងហូជិមិញបានយ៉ាងស្រួលទៀតផង។
សកម្មភាពទាំងអស់ខាងលើជាចំណែកមួយនៃភារកិច្ចការទូតសេដ្ឋកិច្ចស្ទុះទៅមុខរបស់ស្ថានទូតថៃប្រចាំនៅកម្ពុជា ដែលការរៀបចំសកម្មភាពនៅក្នុងការស្វែងយល់ឱកាសសេដ្ឋកិច្ច ពាណិជ្ជកម្ម វិនិយោគ និងការតភ្ជាប់រវាងថៃនិងកម្ពុជានេះត្រូវបានរៀបចំឡើងជារៀងរាល់ឆ្នាំ ហើយដើរទន្ទឹមគ្នាជាមួយនឹងការរៀបចំកម្មវិធីសប្បុរសធម៌ដើម្បីជាចំណែកនៅក្នុងការអភិវឌ្ឍសង្គមនិងសហគមន៍ (Corporate Social Responsibility: CSR) ដោយមានការសហការពីក្រុមហ៊ុនឯកជនថៃនៅកម្ពុជា ដោយនៅក្នុងឆ្នាំនេះធ្វើឡើងនៅក្នុងខេត្តក្រចេះនិងស្ទឹងត្រែងចន្លោះថ្ងៃទី ១ - ៣ មេសា ២០២៤ ដោយមានគោលដៅធ្វើអោយប្រជាជននៃប្រទេសទាំងពីររីកចម្រើនទាំងផ្នែកសេដ្ឋកិច្ចនិងសង្គមព្រមៗគ្នា៕
