Fostering "Two Kingdoms and One Destination" policy into a reality

In a significant move to boost tourism industries between Thailand and Cambodia, the Royal Thai Embassy has taken proactive steps under the visionary "Two Kingdoms and One Destination" policy. The Royal Thai Embassy in collaboration with the Office of Commercial Affairs and the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Ho Chi Minh Office, in charge of tourism cooperation of Thailand in Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos, convened a strategic meeting with key players from the Thai Tourism Council of Thailand encompassing representatives from U-TAPAO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Eastern provincial authorities, hotel business, and tour agencies. The Meeting aimed to link Eastern corridor of Tourism, Pattaya, Chonburi with Cambodian tourism.

The Embassy went the extra mile by organizing a business matching session, a high-profile gathering aimed at fostering collaboration and synergy between Thai and Cambodian tourism businesses. This provided a platform for meaningful connections between tourism enterprises in the two nations.

This initiative not only enhances bilateral relations between Thailand and Cambodia but also drives the “Two Kingdoms and One Destination” policy, to a better reality of connected tourist destinations.
