Ambassador of Thailand to Cambodia joined hands with the Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia to strengthen a closer bilateral cooperation in banking and financial sector aiming to enhance financial stability and economic growth of the two countries
On 4 September 2023, H.E. Mr. Cherdkiat Atthakor, Ambassador of Thailand to Cambodia paid a courtesy call to H.E. Dr. Chea Sarey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia stressing the long-standing relations between Thailand and Cambodia in banking and financial sector.
Both sides agreed to further enhance cooperation in many potential areas for the benefit of the people in the two countries. The areas of cooperation include enhancing an efficient and secure cross-border transfer of money and promoting payment connectivity through QR code payment to boost trade and tourism between the two countries as well as promoting the use of local currencies to strengthen financial stability of the countries.

កាលពីថ្ងៃទី ៤ តុលា ២០២៣ ឯកឧត្តមឈើតកៀត អត្ថាករ ឯកអគ្គរាជទូតថៃប្រចាំកម្ពុជាព្រមទាំងសហការី បានចូលជួបសម្តែងការគួរសមជាមួយលោកជំទាវបណ្ឌិត ជា សិរី ទេសាភិបាល ធនាគារជាតិនៃកម្ពុជា ដោយការពិភាក្សាផ្តោតសំខាន់លើកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការជិតស្និតគ្នាជាយូរអង្វែងនៃវិស័យហិរញ្ញវត្ថុនិងធនាគាររវាងថៃ និងកម្ពុជា ដោយបានត្រៀមខ្លួនរួចជាស្រេចនៅក្នុងការសហការដើម្បីលើកកម្ពស់ការបង្កភាពងាយស្រួលក្នុងវិស័យហិរញ្ញវត្ថុសម្រាប់ប្រជាជននៃប្រទេសទាំងពីរ។
ភាគីទាំងពីរក៏បានជជែកគ្នាផងដែរទាក់ទិននឹងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការការផ្ទេរប្រាក់ឆ្លងដែនដែលប្រកបដោយសុវត្ថិភាពនិងមានប្រសិទ្ធភាពប្រសើរជាងមុន ដើម្បីឈានឆ្ពោះទៅរកការតភ្ជាប់គ្នាតាមរយៈប្រព័ន្ធឌីជីថល ជាពិសេសការទូទាត់ទំនិញដោយប្រើប្រាស់ QR Code ដើម្បីជាការជំរុញលើវិស័យទេសចរណ៍និងបង្កលក្ខណៈងាយស្រួលសម្រាប់ការធ្វើធុរកិច្ចរវាងគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមក ថែមទាំងជាការជំរុញនូវការប្រើប្រាស់រូបិយវត្ថុរៀងៗខ្លួនដែលជាការពង្រឹងនូវភាពរឹងមាំនៃប្រព័ន្ធហិរញ្ញវត្ថុរបស់ប្រទេសទាំងពីរ៕
