On 9 June 2016 the Royal Thai Embassy held a ceremony at the Embassy to pay tribute to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary Celebrations of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne. His Holiness Samdech Preah Sanghareach Bour Kry, the Supreme Patriarch of the Thammayut Order of Cambodia, graciously presided over the religious ceremony and led the chant blessings and meditation to bless His Majesty the King. Around 100 members of the Thai community in Cambodia, led by H.E. Mr. Nuttavudh Photisaro, Thai Ambassador, joined together in this ceremony to show their respect and make merit for the King of Thailand.
