On 21 June 2019, His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath NORODOM SIHAMONI, King of Cambodia, and Her Majesty Samdech Preah Mahaksatrey NORODOM MONINEATH SIHANOUK, Queen Mother of Cambodia, graciously graced a special event organised by the Royal Thai Embassy with support from the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts of Cambodia, "Choral Music for Friendship: A Concert by Suanplu Chorus", at Chaktomuk Conference Hall, Phnom Penh, upon the Embassy's humble invitation. The concert was held to highlight the musical talent of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah NORODOM SIHANOUK of Cambodia and His Majesty King BHUMIBOL ADULYADEJ the Great of Thailand, as well as to strengthen bonds between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Kingdom of Cambodia through choral music and people-to-people contact. The Embassy had also extended invitation to the diplomatic corps, students of the Royal University of Fine Arts, the Royal University of Phnom Penh, the Secondary School Of Fine Arts, artists in close collaboration with Cambodian Living Arts and Mudhita Foundation to attend the event.
